Hydropower station completed in Zambia

The 3×5MW Lusivasi Hydropower Station, a project undertaken by China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) in Zambia, was completed on Sept 14, following the construction of a 4556.83-meter-long water diversion channel.

Construction of the channel started in May 2017 and the full length of the waterway was initially planned to be 4662.616 meters, according to the original design plans. It was later decided that a shorter length would be optimal.
