Logic PD’s Manufacturing Facilities Earn Updated Quality Certifications

Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Product Development solutions company Logic PD has been awarded updated quality management certifications for its manufacturing plants in both Eden Prairie, Minn., and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Issued by global certification organization National Quality Assurance (NQA), the certifications recognize Logic PD’s ability to produce the highest quality electronic assemblies for its customers.

“Our quality team and production staff have worked hard to ensure Logic PD keeps quality as the core aspect of all our operations. Our customers expect the very best from the essential electronics we provide them,” said Tim Becker, Director of Quality Management at Logic PD. “Our ability to earn re-certification at both of our production facilities underscores the strength of our quality systems and our commitment to delivering products to our customers that meet the highest standards of electronics manufacturing.”

NQA notified Logic PD that both Eden Prairie and Ciudad Juárez facilities passed their audits and issued the following certifications:

• ISO 9001:2015 — The most recent update to the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems within a commercial business.  Logic PD’s certification is applicable to the design, development, manufacturing and support services associated with the production of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• AS9100:2016/AS9100D — A widely adopted and standardized quality management system for aviation, space and defense companies.

Logic PD opened its 26,000-square-foot Ciudad Juárez facility in 2015 as an extension of the company’s 51,000-square-foot headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minn., which houses a full-service electronics manufacturing operation as well as the company’s design & engineering and embedded products centers.
