Blockchain and Telehealth Academic Journals Host 2nd Annual Innovation Ignition Competition

Partners in Digital Health, publishers of Blockchain in Healthcare Today and Telehealth and Medicine Today peer review journals, is excited to announce its 2^nd Annual 2018 Innovation Ignition Competition. The first 2017 competition focused on telehealth and medicine.  The publishing group has since expanded its portfolio to include blockchain technology in the healthcare sector.

“This will expose more leaders across the market to new companies and concepts that will change both business models, and the trajectory of healthcare. It will also bring start-ups closer to investment opportunities enabling them to press forward,” stated Tory Cenaj, Founder and Publisher, Partners in Digital Health. 

The competition will focus on the following areas:

• Reducing health systems and patient out-of-pocket costs
• Educating patients on new technology, use, application, and outcomes
• Designing for the level of a patient’s mobility
• Enhanced standard of care for care-giving, remote care, elderly care, and urban care

 
The competition finalist round is scheduled for October 24, 2018, Lerner Hall, Columbia University, New York City, USA, where lightning round pitches will determine the winners.

Entering the competition is FREE.

Judges will include Telehealth and Medicine Today and Blockchain in Healthcare Today journal board members, industry leadership, and VCs. The 2017 First Place Winner was Nonnatech: Machine Learning Remote Patient Monitoring Sensor(s).
 
 
Judges will use six criterion to select winners:  (1) identification of medical problem, (2) technical solution, (3) relevance to healthcare sector and technology, (4) ability to monetize, (5) caliber and expertise of your team, and (6) overall impression.
