About the Author
Corine Lisa. Reed is a native Washingtonian who spent the first 11 years of her life in Detroit, Michigan with her late parents, Thomas Reed and Elaine Reed-Robinson, who are no longer here. The Fourth child of six brothers and one sister, Corine fondly remembers visiting Belle Isle park regularly and Cobo Hall stadium, which turned into a magnificent winter wonderland every year.

Corine, who attended the University of the District of Columbia for two years, has two daughters, the second of which is her adopted niece, and one stepson whom she lovingly refers to as her son. “One daughter is calm and cool and the youngest, of course, is wild and crazy. My son is very laid back! I never took any writing classes and this is my first book. My subconscious helped me to deal with the pain I never knew existed, and I love the person who I’ve decided to be. I’m definitely on my way to living my new life from the inside out!”
