Wolters Kluwer’s ELM Solutions today announced the release of Passport®  18.1 with enhanced collaboration, usability, security and performance features for corporate legal departments and law firms, providing new capabilities that enable legal teams to drive better business outcomes and operational efficiencies while staying current with software updates.

The enhancements made to Passport’s Collaboration Module provide law firms with the opportunity to proactively request budgets from corporate legal departments to streamline the budgeting process, which allows for improved financial management. Usability enhancements include powerful new search functionality and a new Passport Mobile experience which provides a mobile optimized and responsive user interface for Android and IOS phones and mobile tablets. This allows users to instantly access, view, and manage matters and invoices anytime, which helps drive ease of use and time savings for corporate legal departments.

Passport 18.1 also includes new capabilities for adhering to data privacy and security regulations for clients and law firms and provides improved system performance.

Included in the Passport 18.1 release is the Passport Evergreen Program, which provides subscription customers the services and support required to update Passport every 12 months at no charge. This allows clients to take advantage of new Passport functionality and capabilities so they can experience the full value of their technology investment.
