Diane Miles Griffin is a retired second-grade school teacher. She is married and has one son. She taught school for thirty years in the Lee County School System. After retiring she decided to become a substitute teacher. She has worked in schools in and around her hometown of Smiths Station, Alabama. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending church services, and traveling. Her hobbies include sewing, baking, crocheting and other arts and crafts. She especially enjoys making and designing hair bows for little girls. She likes to read books which include the Bible, mystery and romance novels and writing stories for children. Her inspiration comes from her nieces and nephews as they have grown over the years and the children she has taught throughout her career.
