Author Aims to Introduce Readers to the World of Antique Clocks through Fiction

What happens when someone alters humans’ perception of time?

Author P. Clauss transports readers to the magical world of antique clocks through her book “Time Stealers: Time Keepers Chronicles.”

Who knew that something lived in antique clocks? A group of long-lived people did. They had known for centuries that mechanical clocks are homes to mysterious beings. Time Keepers are a group of men located around the world who can sense them. Through the centuries, they have co-existed with these beings, named by many of the Keepers as Time Wraiths.

The story reveals a Keeper in league with the evil faction of Time Wraiths plotting to rule the world through the effects of these beings on humans. Now, the world faces human and non-human enemies that want to destroy and disrupt humankind by altering the perception of time.

“We took our son to a clock show a few years ago to expose him to antique clocks. While there, my husband bought several grandfather clocks and a case. Space was limited in our vehicle and we were debating and teasing my son on how we’re going to get back home with those clocks. One of the off-the-wall suggestions was that since he was tall and thin, he could ride back in the empty clock case. The idea stuck with me. With those thoughts, the story emerged,” Clauss said.

Clauss’ books were featured at the biggest book events in North America, BookExpo America and BookCon 2018 last May 31-Jun 3, 2018 at Javits Center, NY.
