Creatively Crafted Children’s Books Instill Values to Young Readers

Anti-bullying advocate from Jamaica expresses her support for diversity through creative writing

Coram, New York – WEBWIRE

The books reflect Crosdale’s fascination for writing and her advocacy for diversity.

Rebecca Crosdale takes readers deep into the stupendous lush of the garden in “The Garden in the Hood” and mesmerizes children into acquiring essential social skills in her value-driven children’s story “The Frog in the Pond.”

“The Frog in the Pond” is an offspring of her anti-bullying efforts. The book teaches children how to be sensitive and mindful in communicating with others. She creatively used her talent for storytelling as an effective means in giving a lasting erudition to children.

In her other book, “The Garden in the Hood,” she colorfully stresses the importance of giving value to the seemingly unnoticeable beautiful things around us in the middle of chaos and disorganization. She weaves a tale, through a vivid illustration, of how the hidden garden in the neighborhood beautifully transforms as the season dramatically changes.

The books reflect Crosdale’s fascination for writing and her advocacy for diversity. She uses her talent and love for the craft as ways to influence readers and to insinuate values as part of her intention to bring harmony in one another.
