Families are imperfect, and each one has its own problems to face. In Our Little Family “Trouble, author Barbara L. Davis Preslock illustrates how her little family has dealt with a family member who was arrested and imprisoned far away from home.

Our Little Family “Trouble” is Barbara’s narration of the events that had happened before, during, and after her son, Billy, got arrested and imprisoned in New York, a thousand miles from their hometown in Florida.

Throughout the story, the author shares the internal and external conflicts that affected the well-being of her family. These include the struggles that they’ve gone through in the court and state legal system. Amid this situation, the family finds strength in the people who help them and the faith that binds them as a family.

“A good read. I found it hard to put down! The telephone call that nobody wants to receive. A tragic story shared by a brave and loving mother,” says a Barnes & Noble customer, giving the book a five-star review.

Our Little Family “Trouble” was featured during the annual Frankfurt Book Fair held in Germany last October 11 to 15. Over two hundred thousand people from all over the world visited the international book fair.
