Palm City, FL, USA – WEBWIRE

The 2018 BookExpo New Title Showcase will kick off on May 31 and conclude on June 2 at the Javits Center in New York. Aside from being one of America’s most prestigious and well-attended book events, the BookExpo is also the largest author autographing session.
Attending the BookExpo will give Okekaro, who is also an engaging public speaker, the opportunity to impart to readers some insights from his book “A Spirituality of Awareness: A Thematic Study of the Foot washing in John 13:1-20 As A Paradigm Shift for Ministry” (Covenant Books, 2017).
Through “A Spirituality of Awareness,” the author strives to help readers achieve a deeper sense of spirituality – and humility – in their relationships with other people. The focus of the author’s reflection and exposition is on the Gospel of John 13:1-20, which is the account of Jesus washing the feet of His disciples.
Christians who could look well beyond the simple act of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet will understand it was more than symbolic: it was a call to action. For Okekaro, it was a call for believers to achieve what he terms as a relational experience in the search for purpose and meaning in life.
Okekaro hopes that readers, by reading his compelling book, will rethink their conventional views on faith, adopt a community-oriented faith perspective, and live a culture of humility.
Catch Omomaro Okekaro at his scheduled autographing session on June 1, between 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
