Her life was filled with great memories while growing up but things changed when she was faced with different challenges in her married life. Through her experiences, she shares how integrity, perseverance, and hard work can help overcome life’s negativities.

“Dibs and Dabs of my Life” is a memoir recounting the author’s life and its ups and downs. She recalls her life growing up in Tennessee. She narrates her marriage after graduating high school and how life has blessed her with four children. After years into her marriage, she realizes that her husband was both unfaithful and abusive which led her to file a divorce.

Despite it all, she never gave up. She pursued her goal of becoming a teacher while being a single mother. After all the struggles she has faced, she shares how she continued to fight and become the woman that she is today. Her story is a testament that with perseverance and patience, a person can rise up from the ashes and become successful and, most of all, happy.
