Born in Denver, Colorado, Loretta J. Womack grew up with her father and stepmother raising her. She went to Manual High School in Colorado where she spent most of her teen years. Being dedicated and hardworking in what she does could be attributed to her early exposure to employment. She started working after graduating from high school at 16 and was under the employment of Mountain Bell Telephone Company for 33 years. Aside from being a wife, she is also an entrepreneur, inventor, published author, mentor, philanthropist, and motivational speaker, a mother to six children, and a grandmother to twenty-eight grandchildren. She is also the woman behind Determined Grandmothers. With all the things she does, no one can expect her retirement soon.
