In his memoir, David Meakes talks about his life in different parts. The first part is about his early years during the Great Depression. Perspective’s second and third parts discuss religion, politics, and social conditions. The 4th and 5th parts are about WWII military experiences, education, and about the causes of war. The 6th part covers 1958 to 2018, U.S.  leaders, and wars. Also, peace, nurtured through global education.

David Meakes is an American World War II veteran who was born in Canada. David, and his deceased former wife, Peggy, were blessed with a son and granddaughter. The 95-year-old retired podiatrist now happily resides in Meza, Arizona, with his loving wife, Olga.
