Alex Kamins Promoted to Vice President, Global Digital Business Development - Innovation & Emerging Technology, Warner Music Group

Appointment Solidifies Strategic Presence on the West Coast

Warner Music Group (WMG) today announced the promotion of Alex Kamins to Vice President, Global Digital Business Development – Innovation & Emerging Technology, effective immediately. Kamins will relocate from WMG’s New York headquarters to its Los Angeles office to lead West Coast-based partnerships and drive new digital media and business diversification opportunities.

Kamins will continue to bolster WMG’s strategic business efforts through partnerships, licensing deals, and investments focused on established and emerging digital platforms, new content opportunities, new technologies, and location-based entertainment. He will continue to report to Jeff Bronikowski, SVP, Global Digital Business Development - Head of Innovation & Emerging Technology.

Kamins most recently served as Senior Director, Digital Strategy & Business Development, where he spearheaded various partnerships including the first major label license deals with Musical.ly and Melody VR as well as WMG’s membership in seed accelerator Techstars Music. He joined WMG in 2013 as an Associate Director in the Office of the CEO, having previously worked in the investment banking and investment management sectors.

Kamins holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Emory University and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
