The five-man squad serve to protect the community of Powers Trace, a fictional small town in Georgia. Their service comes with difficulties as they unfortunately face harsh realities, such as small pay and limited resources.

Though fictional, the challenges each character faces in Bill’s action-packed tale are not far off from that of real-life policemen, especially those assigned in small communities. Although they may be down in numbers, funds, and equipment, these men still strive to get their jobs done—even going above and beyond just to protect their towns.
