Parquet Courts Share Video For "Mardi Gras Beads"

Following the release of Parquet Courts’ brand new track “Mardi Gras Beads” - the first Austin Brown-penned ’Wide Awake!’ album track revealed thus far - on limited edition 7“ for Record Store Day two weekends ago, today it officially drops on all digital services along with a video. The video picks up where ”Wide Awake“ left off, focusing on band member Austin Brown as he contemplatively walks the streets and lots of New Orleans. ”It’s a song about commitment to yourself for better or worse,“ says Brown. As with ”Wide Awake,“ Brother Willis directed ”Mardi Gras Beads“ during Mardi Gras.
