TestAmerica Expert Pat McIsaac and Guest Presenter Dr. Bill Miller to Present Webinar on Hazardous Waste Delisting Requirements

Canton, OH – WEBWIRE

TestAmerica, the leader in environmental testing, announced the next presentation in its highly acclaimed Ask the Expert Webinar series.  The webinar, entitled Understanding Hazardous Waste Delisting Requirements – An Opportunity for Cost Savings will be presented live on Thursday, March 15 at 1:30 PM EST by TestAmerica expert Pat McIsaac, and industry professional Dr. Bill Miller of FoxView Environmental Solutions, LLC.

USEPA provides guidance to waste generators, via the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), on the process by which wastes can be excluded, or delisted, from the list of hazardous materials produced or held at the facility.  Generators can petition the USEPA to exclude their wastes from the special handling and disposal procedures required by RCRA. A critical component of this delisting petition is the analysis and characterization of the waste, as defined in the Sampling and Analysis Plan (SAP) for the site or plant location.  The SAP defines the chemicals of concern, including those which will be analyzed by the laboratory utilizing EPA SW-846 Methods.  The hour-long webinar presented by Ms. McIsaac and Dr. Miller will provide participants with a general overview of the delisting process, discuss the advantages to waste generators of pursuing a delisting petition, as well as the analytical options for delisting support available from TestAmerica.

Patricia McIsaac has nearly 35 years’ experience in the environmental testing industry, including positions in project management, quality assurance and account management.  In her current position as Product Manager, Ms. McIsaac provides business and technical leadership on a variety of topics including dredged materials, sediments, emerging contaminants and the utility sector.  Ms. McIsaac earned her MS degree at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ and her BS degree at Cook College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
