APL Logistics appoints Jens Romer Sode as Regional Vice President, EMEA

APL Logistics is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jens Romer Sode as Regional Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa effective 5th March 2018.

Mr. Sode will be responsible for leading the EMEA Region to deliver superior customer value by realizing and unlocking the full potential of customers’ supply chain activities. Working with both the Regional and Vertical teams, he will lead the development and delivery of a strong operational foundation with a focus on tuning supply chain activities as an engine for growth and demonstrating how APL Logistics can enable activity to help customers truly differentiate in their markets.

Immediately before joining APL Logistics, Mr. Sode held the position of CEO at Damco Benelux for two years. He brings a broad range of experience from his various jobs in the Global Logistics Industry and has held key jobs within Key Account Management, Business Development, IT and General Operation Management, primarily within the A.P. Møller-Maersk Group.

Mr. Sode will be based at the APL Logistics office in Hamburg.
