Small-Time Crook Collides with the Mexican Drug Cartel

Russell County’s attorney Kenneth L. Funderburk chronicles how a crime is systematically planned out and how easy it can go south in “The Fish House Gang.”

The book follows Randall Moss, a petty criminal who likes to brag about his exploits. This time, he plans to loot the shop of a businessman in Fort Walton with a band of drunkards. Barely escaping the scene, Moss and his gang of thugs soon realized that they were ill-prepared to handle the situation. But what they didn’t know was that they were already entangled in a much bigger web—that of a Mexican drug cartel.

Vicky Partin, an Amazon customer, gave the book five stars and said that “the images of the characters with their vulnerabilities held [her] grasp until the unforeseen ending.” She further added that she highly recommends the author’s first novel. About the Author

Kenneth L. Funderburk is a lawyer from Alabama. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Samford University and master’s degree in sociology at Mississippi State University. Funderburk studied law at the University of Alabama. He has more than forty years of experience in practicing law and is currently the county attorney for Russell County.
