America has produced some of the greatest people and events that have combined to make the greatest contribution to the history of our time.

“An American Century,” a novel by John W. Kirshon, brings history to life. The book covers almost everything notable that took place in America during the 20th century.

The novel recounts the lives of three generations of the Bleucher family: Oscar and Lilly, Paul and Josephine, and Jack and Kathy, as well as others. Their stories involve the great events of American history, from the Klondike Gold Rush to the World Wars to September 11, 2001. To give readers the feel of an era, the author includes true stories about the most influential people in America and the world at the time.

Brilliantly written and highly evocative, the novel won an Honorable Mention at the 2013 Paris Book Festival and deserves a motion picture adaptation.

“An American Century” is one of the great novels that will be displayed in the upcoming 2018 BookExpo New Title Showcase, which will open on May 31, 2018.
