Jen Vanbelle to Lead Ge Treasury Operations

GE (NYSE: GE) announced that Jennifer VanBelle will lead GE’s Treasury operations. As treasurer, VanBelle will be responsible for global funding and liquidity, capital structure, cash management and treasury services for all of GE’s worldwide operations. VanBelle will also continue as the Capital Markets leader for GE Capital, reporting both to GE CFO Jamie Miller and GE Capital President Alec Burger. 

VanBelle will replace Dan Janki, who has served as treasurer since 2014. Janki is assuming the newly created role as senior vice president, Business Transformation. 

“Jen is the perfect leader for GE Treasury. Her expertise in debt capital markets, capital and liquidity management, rating agency methodologies and debt management will be critical,” said Miller.  

VanBelle has more than 27 years of experience. She is a 19-year veteran of GE and has led Capital Markets for GE Capital since January 2016.  Previously, she’s held roles in risk, Capital Markets, and Treasury in GE Capital. While in Treasury, she was Deputy Treasurer, managing rating agency, liquidity and capital management efforts.  Prior to that she spent several years at Chemical Bank, Banque Indosuez, and ING in similar capacities. She holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Bates College and an MSc in Finance from the London Business School.
