Teacher of “The Law” Mike M. Joseph Disproves the Existence of the Afterlife

Mike Mordakhai Joseph, a teacher of “The Law” and lecturer on the Old Testament, sees no reason to believe in the afterlife. Contrary to what spiritual leaders teach to their followers, their respective “Holy Books” – the Bible and the Qur’an – teach otherwise.  
 
In his compelling book, “Sorry! There is No Afterlife! None Goes to Heaven or Hell!” (AuthorHouse, 2008), Joseph exposes the fallacy that is the belief in the afterlife and explains why it is ridiculous and spiritually harmful to believe in it.
 
“The doctrine of the afterlife or of ‘going to Heaven,’ immediately after death, is a product of man’s quest for assurance in the world of the unknown and uncertainty,” said Joseph in the foreword of his book. “It’s not provable, it’s false, a superstition. For many, it’s a comfortable ‘security blanket’ – and that makes it right.”
 
The focus of “Sorry! There is No Afterlife! None Goes to Heaven or Hell!” is Joseph’s exposition of the subject which, the author points out, is one major doctrine that is common among Jews, Christians, and Moslems – all who claim to have a physical or spiritual connection to the patriarch Abraham.
 
Joseph quotes incessantly from the “Holy Books” to prove a point and admonishes the spiritual leaders for deceiving their followers, whom he also admonishes for not emulating the noble Bereans.  A few readers may see the author’s work as polemical in nature and would not take kindly to his words.

About the Author
 
Mike M. Joseph was born in 1944 to an Orthodox Jewish family in British colony in Aden, Yemen.  His family immigrated to Israel in 1949 after the pogrom against the Jews by the Arabs.  Later the author lived in Paris, France and then moved to New York.  After 5 years a change of heart led the author to follow a group who believed in both Old and New Testament and relocated to California.  After graduating from college with a B.A. in Theology he joined the ministry and wrote many articles and 5 books.
