BASF launches MasterEmaco T 1060DR and MasterEmaco T 1061DR low dust repair mortars

SHAKOPEE, MN – WEBWIRE

The Construction Chemicals division of  BASF unveils MasterEmaco® T 1060DR and MasterEmaco T 1061DR low dust repair mortars.

Jobsite dust is one of the leading health and environmental issues facing the construction industry, and BASF developed these low dust mortars specifically to reduce jobsite dust that occurs during concrete repair mortar mixing.

“Our top priority is keeping our industry partners safer, and MasterEmaco T 1060DR and MasterEmaco T 1061DR repair mortars generate at least 75 percent less dust during mixing than standard repair mortars,” said Jay Patel, Industry Sector Manager, BASF.

An additional benefit of the MasterEmaco T 1060DR includes very rapid return to service, with structures being opened to vehicular traffic in as little as one hour. MasterEmaco T 1061DR offers extended working time of 25 minutes for jobsite flexibility, and structures can be opened to traffic in as little as two hours.

Applications for MasterEmaco T 1060DR and MasterEmaco T 1061DR include interior and exterior horizontal concrete surfaces, structural concrete repairs, and partial and full-depth repairs.
