Air France launches its first citizen solidarity day: Better Together

WEBWIRE

To support Air France’s social commitment, on 23 and 30 January 2018, a thousand Air France employees, including ground staff, pilots and cabin crew will be helping associations on their work time. This citizen solidarity day is called “Better Together”.
Each employee will take part in one of the 61 assignments set up in conjunction with the company’s Diversity and Sustainable Development teams and the Air France Foundation, who are sponsoring these actions. The Air France employees taking part will contribute together to societal challenges in areas where Air France is present (this year, in the Paris region and in 9 other regions of France).

43 associations were chosen with 6 areas of activity:

- Supporting children in difficulty;
- Education, Training, Employment;
- Disability and Health;
- Fighting insecurity;
- The environment ;
- Intergenerational sharing.

With these citizen solidarity days, Air France employees will benefit from a strong involvement and cohesion around shared values, as well as solidarity with these associations.
To implement Better Together, Air France called on Unis-Cité Solidarité Entreprise, which supports companies in organizing large-scale citizen solidarity actions. Unis-Cité Solidarité Entreprise has perfect knowledge of the associative world and all its revenues contribute to financing civic services.
