Applications for the 2018 CIH® Spring Exam are Due February 1st

Close to 7,000 industrial hygiene practitioners from across the globe have earned the distinction of joining an elite group of professionals known as Certified Industrial Hygienists. For those in the profession who are ready to take their careers to the next level and join this exclusive group of industry leaders, an important date is just two months away. 
 
February 1^st is the deadline to submit a completed application to become eligible for the 2018 CIH^® Spring Exam window. Each year, the American Board of Industrial Hygiene^® (ABIH^®) offers two exam windows: April-May and October-November.  Successful Applicants who have been approved to take the exam and have paid their exam fee can schedule to sit for the CIH^® exam anytime within those timeframes. ABIH^® has contracted with Prometric Testing to provide convenient exam locations throughout the United States, Canada and in many other countries.
 
“For those planning to take the Spring Exam, we encourage them to submit completed applications soon, to ensure that all requirements are met before the February 1^st deadline,” said Jeffrey Miller, CIH^® and Chair of ABIH^®. “Industrial hygienists who are unable to sit for the exam in April or May should note the application due date for the 2018 CIH^® Fall Exam is August 1^st. We wish everyone planning to take the CIH^® Exam success in their efforts to achieve certification in the coming year.”
