Author Jean Eugene Havel Shares Magical Love Story in Novel Written in French

Si and Tony are students of the University of Brooks in northern Ontario. When they met, sparks fly and both fell for each other. Every day was a romantic day for both, and many events occurred until the night of the Halloween. Different emotions start to manifest between the characters as they interact more.

Havel wrote “Brooks” with passion as he delivers the beauty of love and other emotions surrounding it. The plot has been made well, and the characters are relatable. Havel had created his characters outstandingly that readers may find them either lovable or not. The book is highly engaging as readers would eagerly want to proceed to the next chapters to know the next big twist. Written poetically, the words are laid out beautifully. “Brooks” is definitely a book worth reading and adding to one’s collection of romance novels.

“Brooks” was one of the books displayed in the 2017 Guadalajara Intl Book Fair which took place last November 25, 2017.

About the Author
Jean Eugene Havel is the author of over a dozen books written in French, a number of which have been translated into second and third languages. Havel claims that, “Anderson, Homer and the Arab story-tellers made me unde rstand our great adventure on the sea under the skies,” but that it was the second world war which made him understand the importance of the individual human being, peace, liberty, and democracy and it has been these values which have driven his writing. Havel holds a doctorate from the Institute of Scandinavian Studies and has spent much of his later adulthood living and teaching in Ontario, Canada. “The Five Sisters” was his first book written in English.
