Author Ralph Mosgrove Explore Ways to Make a More Powerful and Meaningful “Thank You”

Saying “thank you” has been a commonly spoken and almost taken for granted expression of gratitude. In Ralph Mosgrove’s book, “Saying Thanks and Beyond: Is Saying Thank You Enough?” (Archway Publishing, 2017), he took notice of the acts of kindness he and his wife have received from strangers.

When Ralph’s wife, Elsie, fell and injured her hip and spine, her mobility became limited and was assisted by a four-wheel walker. Surprisingly, she and her husband Ralph encountered acts of kindness and benevolence from strangers, such as giving way to her and helping her get to places. Inspiration came to Ralph on how people can do much more than just say thank you to show gratitude and appreciation. Thus, his book “Saying Thanks and Beyond” materialized.

About the Author
Ralph Mosgrove is a pastor, educator and musician. A Navy Veteran, Mosgrove dedicated 26 years to the service and wrote manuals, directives and military training materials. He also previously served as an instructor to Army recruits in the personnel administration division and was an inventory clerk for the City of St. Petersburg. In his spare time, Mosgrove writes poetry, composes songs and travels around the country. He was married to Elsie Mosgrove for 60 years and currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.
