A Navajo Tribe’s Historical Double Doll

New York, NY – WEBWIRE

A honest and informative story about life, culture, dolls will inspire its readers and non-readers.

“Double Doll: Turning Myself Upside Down,” by Sharleen Daugherty, is a fascinating story that started when she was given a double doll while on a one-day trip to the Navajo Reservation with her father. The doll prompted a pivotal experience in Sharleen’s life, one filled with the blatant discrimination of women in a “man’s world.” She sold her successful computer systems consulting business in order to start a company involving the artistic capabilities of the Amish community, where she was living, and the Navajo community she remembered as a child.

Sharleen spins a tale in a way that shows her readers how things can alter one’s life, even turn it upside down, when we are open to following our own destiny.
