About the Author
Stan Briney was a physician with a medical specialty in radiology for thirty-five years. He was a recipient of state and national recognition for his professional achievements in clinical and academic medicine. After retiring from medicine in 1995, he proceeded to become a successful artist and freelance writer. His award-winning illustrations and bronze sculptors can be found in private collections, fine art galleries, homes, offices, and schools. Stan Briney and his wife enjoy traveling to many parts of the world. They reside in the cattle ranching country of North Central Texas. They have three children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
