Google and Edgenet have partnered to make it much easier for brands and manufacturers to influence their product presence, help consumers find the product they are looking for and sell their products online.
Realizing that accurate product data is critical to shopping online, Google launched Google Manufacturer Center, which enables manufacturers to upload authoritative and detailed product content, which improves the performance of ads as well as the visual display across Google. In the past, this information was largely provided by retailers, who may not always have the best quality or most complete product data. By using Manufacturer Center, brands and manufacturers directly influence how their products are represented in Google Shopping search results.
