About the Author

Fred L. Bond had been in the navy for four years before he pursued a degree in aquatic etymology and water pollution ecology at the University of Utah. He pursued his master’s degree in entomology and microbiology in the same university. From 1970 to 1996, Fred worked in the FDA as a microbiologist, specializing in the analysis of antibiotics.
