Author Tito Pontecorvo released a coffee table book titled My Passion for Akhaltekes featured by LitFire Publishing in the 2016 Frankfurt Book Fair. Held at Frankfurt Trade Fair Grounds in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The book was displayed from October 19 to 23, 2016.

The 360-page book (12.4 inches x 12 inches; 31 cm x 30 cm) is about the beauty of the Akhalteke horses. A breed that inspired countless sculptors and artists to create wonderful paintings and sculptures. You can feel the special refined taste of people living in Central Asia long time ago in the Akhalteke’s unusual and bright beauty. The astonishing image of these creatures is a “living work of art.”

Akhalteke is the oldest pureblood breed of horses, known for more than 5,000 years.

The book contains 300 color photos of 100 different pureblood Akhalteke horses. A separate section entitled “For the lovers of the Akhalteke horses” features a collection of 120 photos of the most exceptional and fine horses. The book provides information about special details of their anatomy, their different inbreed types, how to train and raise them properly, and about their outstanding possibilities in various kinds of equestrian sport. Also included is a text, based on author’s practice, about many other aspects related to the Akhalteke breed.

The book is both in English and Russian languages.
