DSAG Annual Convention at the Congress Center in Leipzig

Bayer Business Services is a partner of the DSAG Annual Convention

Friday - September 15, 2006 - Leverkusen – Operating under the motto “Heading For A Business Process Platform – What Does This Mean To You?”, the German-speaking SAP user group DSAG has invited SAP users to the Congress Center Leipzig where it is holding its annual convention from September 19 to 21. Bayer Business Services GmbH is an SAP-certified provider for IT-based services and is therefore supporting this biggest user conference in the SAP environment through its partnership. Bayer Business Services will be acting as a communication platform for intensive technical discussions and an exchange of experience. All DSAG members and convention delegates are accordingly invited to come to the Business Lounge of Bayer Business Services.

“Bayer Business Services has already taken the step of implementing SAP as a business process platform,” explains Dr. Andreas Resch, Managing Director of Bayer Business Services, “and we are looking forward to sharing our experiences with DSAG members through our partnership with the DSAG Annual Convention. We are pursuing the further development of SAP with great intensity, and we are contributing to the optimization of the standard package and software modules through our cooperation.”

Bayer Business Services employees will be providing information on their experiences with SAP in three talks:

- On September 19, at 1:15 p.m., Torsten Terveer will be presenting the results of the workgroup “SAP Industrial Solutions: Utilities Business Warehouse” (IS-U BW).
- On September 20, at 1:00 p.m., Torsten Terveer will be outlining the activities of DSAG in setting up the workgroup “Energy Utilities” in Austria and Switzerland.
- Also on September 20, at 1:30 p.m., Ulrich Rosskopf will be presenting the experiences of Bayer with the “SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal”.

The speakers and other employees will be available in the Business Lounge of Bayer Business Services for in-depth discussions on integrated services.

DSAG is the umbrella organization of all user groups in the SAP environment. Bayer Business Services is involved in a large number of DSAG technical groups and is thus supporting the innovative further development of SAP products. By giving its support to the convention, this service company of the Bayer Group is clearly continuing its commitment and involvement from previous years.
