Retired Music Teacher Compiles God’s Poetic Messages and Turns It Into a Book

The word of God is never simple. It comes in many forms and languages. But its beauty and meaning stays the same. Moreover, according to Diane Goold, when God’s messages come in a poetic form, it will provide a refreshing new way to read and understand the Holy Scriptures. That is why, in her book entitled Treasured Words of God, she has compiled selected scriptures that will appeal to our hearts as they are applied to our daily life events.

“I have collected the most memorable and beloved scriptures in order to create a concise guide that are indexed for a quick reference. As I have paraphrased them into poetic formats, readers can now concentrate on the message of the Scriptures without any distraction”, said Diane Goold.

Aside from her compilation of scriptures, she has also included a selection of her own inspirational poetry. These poems will help the reader easily reflect on various subjects about everyday life.

About the Author

Diane Goold is a retired elementary classroom and music teacher. As the director of the Newspaper in Education at the St. Joseph (MO) News-Press, she has created and published numerous NIE classroom resources. Throughout the years, she has also written and published poems. Currently, she lives in Shawnee, Kansas with her husband, Clarence. And now that she has retired, she enjoys the companionship of her daughter, Shelly, along with her husband, Cameron Hartl and their three children: Kiera, Carver, and Harrison. She also spends most of her time fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a published author.
