HeiLu Brings On Diana Matteson as Senior Business Development and Interiors Consultant to Their Growing Team

With over 28 years in the industry, Diana Matteson recently joined the HeiLu team. As Senior Business Development and Interiors Consultant specializing in working with the Architecture and Design Community. Diana will work strategically alongside HeiLu owners, Scott Kriech and Tim Barz, to build the HeiLu brand by developing deeper relationships with industry professionals and new clients. 
 
“I’ve been in the San Diego market since 2011 with a competitive local dealership representing Teknion Furniture to the local market,” explained Diana Matteson. “Transitioning out of my previous position was all about timing as I had many high profile projects and clients to consider in my decision.  As a top seller with my previous company, it was critical that I made a wise decision to join a firm that was a good fit on many levels as well as to maintain an alignment with Teknion, my primary furniture vendor I’m thrilled to say that HeiLu has exceeded my expectations.”  
 
Diana began her love for design as a child, however, after receiving her design degree in 1984 she joined her first dealership in 1987. Since then, Diana has worked in and around the industry, including owning her own firm for more than 15 years. Prior to HeiLu, Diana was a top performer at a nationwide furniture dealership with a concentration in the A&D sector marketing and selling the Teknion product line, working with many notable clients. Her most memorable project was at SDSU with the AZTEC Student Union and Zura Hall projects, as well as many SHARP Hospital projects where she’s built solid relationships while fulfilling their ever-evolving needs.  
 
Professionally, Diana’s greatest achievements have been the relationships she’s built with her clients and team over the years and the transformation she’s seen in their lives.  She believes that collaborating  with her team to create balance in their lives, while providing quality products and services to their valued clients, is a critical element to success. As a Certified Leadership and Business Coach, Mentor, Speaker and trainer, Diana has a profound passion  for her team, her clients and their families.
