It’s not a diet; it’s a lifestyle!

Cheryl A Major, Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant and lifetime Boston, MA resident, held her first live event on November 19, 2015. She spoke about why we crave certain foods and about how to get started moving or “eating” in the right direction. The response was so great that she was asked to speak again in January. Cheryl’s previous experience in this field includes her very active blog ThinStrongHealthy.com, teaching others to cook healthy food with Face Time lessons and creating a weight loss program: GPSforWeightLoss.com.

“As soon as I finished speaking, attendees came up to me with topics they’d like me to cover at future events.  People want to make better, healthier food choices for themselves and their families.  They just don’t know where to get straight answers and who to turn to for the simple honest truth…  I am a very direct person; now they know who they can trust!”

One of the reasons Major decided to begin speaking is that she wants to interact with people to share her own story which is an accidental victory over decades of depression by changing how she eats.

”Once you understand what the processed food industry has done to manipulate you, you have the power to change your life, your weight and your health…both mental and physical!  I want to share that message of personal power with as many people as possible.”

“At the January event, we began by discussing the basics of how to read a food label.  It’s more complicated than you may think as there are many different ingredients and tons of chemicals in our food few people understand or can even pronounce!”

Because of such positive feedback and Cheryl’s willingness to address top-of-mind subjects for her audience, she has been asked to come back and speak once a month, addressing questions and topics to help people make smart food and health choices.  This month the topic will be sugar in its many forms and what it does to your mind and your body.

Major looks forward to continuing her speaking engagements with the goal being to help people understand how to lose weight and maintain good mental and physical health using moderate exercise and good, whole healthy food. It’s not a diet; it’s a lifestyle! There are resources, free recipes and updated information to help you lose weight and be your healthiest you at her website, ThinStrongHealthy.com

The next live event will be held on February 23, 2016, and will address the dilemma of sugar in our diet.  If you’d like additional information, please email her at Cheryl@ThinStrongHealthy.com
