J Thomas & Associates Insurance Agency Kicks Off Charity Program in Houston, TX by Initiating Campaign in Support of the Music Therapy Center of Houston

J Thomas & Associates Insurance Agency in Sugar Land, TX has announced the commencement of a master charity program created to help better the local community. The agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area, selecting a new beneficiary every 60 days. Their goal is to bring community awareness to important local causes by forming campaigns which aid worthy individuals, families or programs with fundraising and other support.
                                             
To debut the new community involvement program, Jason Thomas, the agency’s principal, has chosen to introduce the Music Therapy Center of Houston (MTCH), which provides professional music therapy for children and adults. The campaign’s objective is to assist with fundraising to enable these vital services. MTCH provides both individual and group therapy sessions to public and private schools, other area nonprofits organizations and learning centers. Music therapy addresses the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of people of all ages who suffer from disabilities or illnesses, and improves quality of life. Since 2009, MTCH has served more than 400 individuals, families and facilities. However, the need for professional music therapy in the greater Houston area is growing.
