And enjoy every moment of music – its notes, the sound of the accompaniment and everything in it.

Listen to the sound of music. Learn to play an instrument to do your part in making music live for a long time. And enjoy every moment of music – its notes, the sound of the accompaniment and everything in it. That is how Stella Castellucci lived her life until the present, which makes her life interesting in her memoir entitled Diving Deep for Sea Shells.

The book narrates the life story of Stella as she spends most of her time in music. Aside from that, she talks about her family, her friends who also play the harp and even her students. Moreover, she tells everything about her career as a harpist for Peggy Lee, a famous jazz singer and a very good friend of the author. She also chronicles her career as a studio musician for motion picture and television recording orchestras and recording artists.

Although it is a memoir written by Stella and her good friend, Edgar Amaya, a reader can learn how to grow in music, just like how the woman in the book did. And that’s what makes this literary piece a unique art in itself.  As a testament to that, a review created by Vincent P. Degiorgio said that, “This is not your conventional biography. A few surprises in this, including the fact that Stella played on a lot of Barry White’s projects and many years at Motown. An interesting read that feels more like a diary of events. An extremely personal book about a life in music.”
So, if you’re one of the people who play harp for a living or who is a fan of Peggy Lee, then this is the book for you. Grab a copy now and spend an afternoon wandering in the world of notes, rhythm and beautiful music in the words of people like Stella and Edgar who fell in love with music a long time ago.

Moreover, if you want to check out the book and some details about the author, then you better attend the BookExpo America 2015. It will be held on May 27-29, 2015 at the Javits Center in New York City, New York. It’s the biggest book event of the year and Diving Deep for Sea Shells, along with other materials from the author, will be displayed in the booth of LitFire Publishing.
