WEBWIRE

TestAmerica will present as part of the Hartman Environmental Geoscience Classroom Training, “The Vapor Intrusion Risk Pathway: A Practical Guide”. This workshop will be held near Chicago in Lemont, IL on May 28-29, 2015. TestAmerica’s Taryn McKnight, Senior Air Specialist, will instruct at this seminar. The 2-day course is a comprehensive, practical training class, open to the public, featuring an overview of state and federal guidance, sampling and analysis methods, as well as mitigation and ramifications of the new ASTM Phase 1 Standard.

TestAmerica has been at the forefront of the Vapor Intrusion evolution for the last two decades. At both a local and national level TestAmerica has participated in the development of sampling and analytical best practices, contributed to national workgroups such as ITRC (Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council) and the development of various state guidance documents.

Taryn McKnight is a seasoned air specialist and a member of TestAmerica’s Ask the Expert panel. With over 10 years of environmental experience specializing in the Vapor Intrusion market, Mrs. McKnight is well versed in developing an analytical approach, as well as a quality program that ensures the necessary data quality objectives are being met. With a special focus on understanding federal and regional guidance related to vapor intrusion, Mrs. McKnight provides strategic support in the development of sampling and analysis plans.
