Calgary Asbestos and Microbiology Testing Lab Receives CALA Accreditation

EMSL Canada, Inc. is proud to announce that its Calgary laboratory has been accredited by the Canadian Association for Laboratory Accreditation Inc. (CALA) for asbestos in air by PCM fiber counting (NIOSH 7400 Method), and mould analysis in air (ASTM D7391-09 Method), bulk and surface samples by microscopy. Through the CALA accreditation program, EMSL’s Calgary laboratory is compliant with International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

EMSL Calgary is also certified by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) for PLM bulk asbestos fiber analysis (NVLAP Lab Code 500100-0).
