Janney Montgomery Scott Announces Promotions in its Investment Banking Division

Janney Montgomery Scott LLC (“Janney”), a leading full-service wealth management, financial services and investment banking firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, today announced four promotions within its Investment Banking division.

JD Nelson has been named a Director in the Financial Institutions Group where he focuses on consumer & commercial finance and real estate. He has over 10 years of investment banking experience in providing strategic and analytical support for clients and has completed a vast array of transactions across multiple products including public and private debt and equity offerings, mergers, acquisitions and other corporate finance assignments. He joined Janney in 2008.
 
Joseph Reichert has been named a Director in the Infrastructure Group where he focuses on origination and execution of public and private capital raises, mergers and acquisitions and other financial advisory assignments. His coverage universe includes the energy, water and utility sectors. He joined Janney in 2005.
 
Brian Van der Waag is now a Director in the Infrastructure Group where he focuses primarily on the energy, transportation & logistics, and water sectors. He joined Janney in 2011 and has 10 years of investment banking experience.
 
Parth Talati is now an Associate in the Healthcare Group. He is responsible for the execution of transactions including private and public capital raises (equity, debt, and hybrid), buy- and sell-side advisory, and partnering and licensing.
