Lyme Disease Tick Test Kit Offers People a Quick Way to Identify the Pathogen that Causes the Illness

Even though some parts of the country are still experiencing winter’s freezing temperatures, the official start of spring is only a few weeks away.  With warmer weather conditions coming soon, concerns over ticks and Lyme disease are a significant issue in many areas.

Borrelia burgdorferi is the bacterium that causes Lyme disease and is transmitted to humans through the bite of an infected tick.
