American Board of Industrial Hygiene® Announces Deadline for Award Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted by ABIH® for this year’s Impact Award and Lynn C. O’Donnell Lifetime Achievement Award.

There are so many current and past Diplomates who have made an impact and this is an opportunity to recognize their achievements.

The Board of Directors and Staff of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene® (ABIH®) are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the ABIH Impact Award and the ABIH Lynn C. O’Donnell Lifetime Achievement Award.
 
The ABIH Impact Award celebrates those ABIH Diplomates who have made major contributions resulting in a significant positive impact to the practice of occupational and environmental hygiene.
 
The ABIH Lynn C. O’Donnell Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates those ABIH Diplomates who have made exemplary contributions to the practice of occupational and environmental hygiene that has culminated over a lifetime of work.  The ABIH Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest honor awarded by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
 
Nominees for an ABIH Award must be an ABIH Diplomate (Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist® or Certified Industrial Hygienist®) in good standing or a former Diplomate who voluntarily surrendered the credential while in good standing.
 
Award submissions must be received by ABIH on or before March 15, 2015 to qualify.  The ABIH Awards will be presented at the ABIH Forum during the American Industrial Hygiene Conference and Exposition (AIHce) that is taking place from May 30th through June 4th in Salt Lake City, Utah.
 
“We encourage those interested in submitting a nomination to review the submission guidelines and forms available at the ABIH website in the Document Library under ABIH Impact Award Forms and ABIH Lifetime Achievement Award Forms,” said Nicole Greeson, Chair of ABIH.  “There are so many current and past Diplomates who have made an impact and this is an opportunity to recognize their achievements.
