Colorado homebuilder Berkeley Homes, in partnership with Harvard Communities, received four separate Gold Awards at this year’s The Nationals awards gala, which was held January 20th in the Palace Ballroom at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. The award-winning Berkeley Homes team included Godden|Sudik Architects and Ellis Hays Design.

Held each year during the International Builders Show, The Nationals is the home building industry’s largest international gathering of sales, marketing and design professionals who gather to honor the best in the building industry for excellence, determination, integrity and marketing & design creativity.

Berkeley Homes, Godden|Sudik Architects and Ellis Hays Design, collaborated to win Gold Awards in the following categories:

  • Best Architectural Design of a Single Family Home 2,500-3,000 Sq. Ft
  • Best Architectural Design of a Single Family Home Over 4000 Sq. Ft
  • Best Interior Merchandising of a Model 2,000-2,499 Sq. Ft
  • Best Interior Merchandising of a Model Over 4,000 Sq. Ft.

“We are thrilled and honored that we were able to shine a spotlight on the Denver market on an international level, and show the great homes that are being developed in our city,” said Rich Laws, owner and president of Berkeley Homes.

Two separate model homes in Berkeley’s highly successful NorthSky community, the Residence One and Residence Four, each earned a Gold Award for both interior merchandising and architectural design.  “To have added four such prestigious awards for two home designs in one community is a testament to the collaborative and cooperative nature of our team”, said John Keith, owner and president of Harvard Communities and NorthSky project partner, adding, “NorthSky has been a fun and exciting project for us.  It allowed us to test the boundaries of providing modern architecture and design to consumers. We enjoyed the whole collaborative process with Godden|Sudik Architects and our interior merchandising partners, Ellis Hays Design.”

Berkeley Homes in NorthSky come with easy access to miles of walking trails, parks and open space, the Lone Tree Rec Center, the Lone Tree Performing Arts Center as well as plentiful shopping and nightlife attractions in both RidgeGate and the nearby Park Meadows area. The community is also well located near the SkyRidge Hospital, Cabela’s and the new Charles Schwab office campus, with easy access to Interstates 25, Colorado 470 and south metro light rail stops.

NorthSky is a joint venture between Berkeley Homes and Harvard Communities, two of Colorado’s locally owned and most respected homebuilders since 1985.
