PSE holds Bull Run for a cause

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) successfully held its 11th PSE Bull Run last January 25 at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.  Attended by thousands of running enthusiasts, the annual running event that aims to raise Philippine stock market awareness was able to raise funds that will partially finance some youth-oriented and school building projects of the PSE Foundation, Inc. (PSEF).

The 21K category was won by Gregg Vincent Osorio and Celle Rose Jaro for the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively. Osorio finished in 1 hour 14 minutes and 34 seconds, while Jaro won with an official time of 1:33:24. Runners-up for men were Michael Bosito (1:24:43) and Joseph Odhuno (1:24:50). Runners-up for women were Janette Lumidao (1:40:46) and Silamie Apolistar (1:45:01).

This year’s Bull Run, which also had 10K, 5K and 3K events, was organized by the PSE in partnership with San Miguel Corporation and PSEF.  It was also supported by Ayala Corporation, COL Financial Group, First Metro Investment Corporation, Jollibee Foods Corporation, Puregold Price Club, Inc., Manila Electric Company, SM Investments Corporation, Philippine Stock Index Fund, RCBC Securities Inc., Resorts World Manila, BDO Securities, SM Supermalls, Manila Water Company, POCARI Sweat, The ABS-CBN News Channel, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Manila Bulletin, El Lobo Energy Drink, Magnolia PureWater, and Hydration Nation.
