Car rental company in Iceland, Blue Car Rental, is promoting the importance of safe travel in the country during the winter season.

Winter travel in Iceland differs from summer as travellers need to be more aware of the problems that could occur, as conditions become harsher and can change within an instant.

Blue Car Rental states that snowy conditions are not the trickiest part of driving a rental car during winter. Most accidents occur due to ice on the road, especially when the temperature is around 0°C.
