Logic PD Expert Leading “Healthcare in Real Time” Discussion at LifeScience Alley 2014 Conference

From smart phones and tablets to wearable devices, technology has dramatically altered consumer’s expectations when it comes to access and speed of information — especially in the healthcare setting. On November 19, 2014 at LSA2014, LifeScience Alley’s health technology leadership conference to be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Logic PD’s vice president of solutions, Bill Betten will lead a discussion on how the medical device industry can use technology to develop devices that address the patient’s needs and expectations.

In the “Healthcare in Real Time: The Speed of Disruption” session held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Betten will lead panelists in an examination of the integration of software and sensor systems into medical devices and explore how advances in technology and user experiences are converging to disrupt traditional device, drug and diagnostic systems. Panel participants include David Amor, managing partner at MEDgineering, Inc., Thomas Brust, president and CEO of WellClub, LLC, and Ken Saitow, president and CEO of CareWire, Inc.
