Telecom Council Announces Results from 2014 Innovation Showcase

Telecom Council of Silicon Valley today announced the results of their 2014 Innovation Showcase. In July of this year, 13 budding startups  were selected by 13 top executive innovation scouts from the telecom industry to be highlighted as technology to watch. Judges included technology experts from BT, NTT Docomo, Ericsson, HTC, JT Global, Orange, Qualcomm, Rogers, Sofinnova Ventures, Sprint, Telecom Italia, Telstra, and U.S. Cellular. The 13 young, innovative companies who they selected for the Innovation Showcase represent the opportunities presented by working in such a quick-paced industry.  From signaling and network optimization, to WiFi offloading and app development, these young companies present unparalleled partnering and investment opportunities.  Showcasers include Bit6, Business Texter, Celerway, Cloudberry, Globys, Mobolize, NetNumber, On-Ramp Wireless, Push Science, Range Networks, RF Window Global, wefi, and ZipZap.

These companies were featured at some of the premier events in telecom this fall -they were introduced to industry press in Las Vegas at the CTIA 2014 ShowStoppers Press Event ,  pitched to CTIA’s Innovation Council judges in the CTIA Startup Lab, were introduced to over 40 telcos at Telecom Council Carrier Connections Summit, and presented to 30+ investors at an Investor Forum in Silicon Valley.
