Women’s Leadership Forum Underway in California

Education and policy leaders from across the country are gathering in Rohnert Park, Calif. today for the Women in School Leadership Forum, hosted by AASA, The School Superintendents Association and the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA).

The two-day forum, taking place at the Doubletree by Hilton Sonoma, comes at a time when the emergence of outstanding women educators and leaders has strengthened public education and added great value to school districts across the country. Topics to be covered include equity in education, 21st century learning, implementing the Common Core State Standards and professional leadership.
