Flying Needle Acupuncture Celebrates Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day On October 24th

Daly City, CA (October 24, 2014): Flying Needle Acupuncture is proudly celebrating Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AOM) Day On October 24, 2014. This national day of observance, is recognized by the thousands of licensed acupuncturists since its inception in 2002.

In honor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day, Flying Needle Acupuncture is offering a FREE 20 Minute Stress Reduction Treatment to it’s very first 25 new patients on October 24, 2014.

It is estimated that as many as 43% of Americans have used or are currently using some form of complementary or alternative therapy such as acupuncture or Oriental Medicine. According to Flying Needle’s owner, Christian Hoffert, “75-90% of all doctor visits are for stress related complaints such as headaches, insomnia, digestive disorders such as IBS, menstrual problems, depressed immune function, weight gain, and emotional disorders to name a few. According to the World Health Organization, acupuncture is effective in treating these chronic manifestations of stress.”                             

Flying Needle Acupuncture is the first community acupuncture clinic in Daly City. Several patients are treated in a comfortable community room as is the conventional practice in modern China. This approach makes acupuncture more affordable and thus accessible to everyone.

Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day, officially observed on October 24, is part of an effort to increase public awareness of the progress, promise, and benefits of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day is supported through a unique international partnership of organizations in the United States, Canada and Mexico. The partnership includes professional associations, research organizations and educational institutions.
